Farhod Khamidov is a new lead of IRSHAD Consulting since 2024. His career spanning over 20 years in a development and humanitarian context with focus on programme development, strategic planning in the socio-economic sectors. He has a wealth of expertise in conducting evaluations, research and large scale household surveys (like MICS, LSMS, and DHS) and is well-versed in monitoring and evaluation systems, capacity building, information management, data visualization, and effectively using and sharing evidence.
Throughout his career, Farhod has collaborated with government institutions, civil society organizations, private sector and academic institutions at both national and local levels, focusing on evidence-based policy advocacy, situation analysis, and strengthening capacities and systems.
Farhod has been in leadership positions with UNICEF in various counties in Central and South Asia, Asia Pacific, Middle East and European and has partnered with major development agencies such as USAID, CIDA, SIDA, EU, the Asian Development Bank, The World Bank, RCO, UNICEF, UNDP, UN Women, UNFPA, UNHCR, IOM, and various governments to tackle complex challenges. With a rich background in international markets, he offers broad strategic guidance to clients in diverse industries.
His multilingual skills also enhance his effectiveness in different environments; he is a native Tajik speaker and fluent in English, Russian, and Turkish.
